ABOUT THE CENTRE OF QURANIC RESEARCH (CQR)

 

         Centre of Quranic Research (CQR) will be the first kind of Quranic & Islamic research centre in Malaysia, which had been established in early year of 2010 by University of Malaya. An awareness of raison d’Otre of CQR will be meaningful in appreciating its efforts at a profound and insightful of Al-Quran and Islamic studies, for both National and International levels. Efforts and contributions towards the prosperity and glittering of Holy Quran is truly one of the most magnificent and most honorable deeds in Islam. Moreover, spending time for learning and teaching al-Quran and its Islamic studies is the most valuable time indeed.

         CQR aims to sustain and promote a vital research in Quranic studies and Islamic research, as well as to explore any kind of research (Scientific research/education/heritage etc.), which can relate to Quranic and Islamic research. Scope of research under this.....More Info

The 6th Annual International Quranic Conference 2016 (MUQADDAS VI)
We invite you to submit your papers on any aspect of research in the field of Quranic studies, as well as science and technology due to serve Holy Quran in all available means. All colleagues are invited to participate to this conference of The 6th Annual International Quranic Conference 2016 (MUQADDAS VI) that will be held in Wisma R&D, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur (MALAYSIA), on 19th – 20th July 2016.

The 4th International Conference on Numerical Miracles in the Quran 2015
The Centre of Quranic Research (CQR), University of Malaya, Malaysia, are pleased to announce that our international conference specifically in the studies of numerical miracles, which known as The 4th International Conference on Numerical Miracles in the Qur'an 2015 that will be held in Ibn al Jazari Institute for Qur'anic Science in Brussels (Belgium), on the 14th – 15th November 2015.

Musabaqah on Quranic for Deaf Students 2014 (MTQ 2014)
Centre of Quranic Research (CQR)  in collaborates with Yayasan FAQEH and Selangor International Islamic University College (KUIS) are pleased to announce that we will organize an event known as Musabaqah on Quranic for Deaf Students 2014 (MTQ'14). This year is the second year of the competition since it gets a lot of attention and support from the community and participating schools during it first competition in year 2013. This competition is the first time ever held in the world. It is really much hope that this event will create an awareness among our community to this special group of people (disabled children) and able to open the people's mind that this disabled children also have high potential and capabilities in learning Al-Quran.
