Welcome to Centre of Quranic Research (CQR), Malaysia’s pioneering hub for Quranic and Islamic studies, established in early 2010 under the esteemed Universiti Malaya. All praise is due to Allah SWT, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, for His guidance and blessings that enabled the successful establishment of CQR. As the first Quranic and Islamic research center of its kind in Malaysia, CQR is dedicated to promoting a profound understanding and appreciation of the Holy Quran and Islamic studies at both national and international levels. By fostering an environment that transcends recitation and memorization to explore the deeper purposes, sciences, and guidance of the Quran, CQR aspires to be a leading consultant in Quranic research. Through its commitment to excellence in research, publishing, and education, CQR strives to contribute to the glory of the Quran and the enrichment of Islamic knowledge.
